Terms of Use

01

What do these terms cover?

Our terms of use govern your use of this website, the loan-request form, our calculator and guides, and any messages we send. By using the site, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms. Changes do not apply retroactively to a dispute already raised.

02

What service do we provide?

We provide a free online service that passes your loan request to third-party lenders and lending partners. We are not a lender, broker or agent of any lender, and we do not make credit decisions.

We do not guarantee that any lender will receive your request, make an offer, or approve you, and we do not guarantee any particular amount, rate or term. Lenders decide on their own criteria, which may include a credit check and verification of your identity, income and bank account. Any loan agreement is solely between you and the lender, and its terms govern the loan.

Lenders and partners may pay us, as described in our advertiser and lending disclosure. Not all lenders are available in all states, and the network does not include every lender or product in the market.

03

Who may use the service?

You must be a U.S. resident, at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama and Nebraska), legally able to enter contracts, and using the site for your own personal request with your own accurate information.

You may not submit a request on behalf of another person without their written authority, use the site from outside the United States to submit a request, or use the service if you are barred from it by law.

04

What are your responsibilities when you submit a request?

You agree that the information you provide is true, complete and current, and that you will not misuse the site. Providing false information to obtain credit may violate federal and state law.

  • Provide only your own information, or information you are authorized to provide.
  • Do not submit fraudulent, duplicate or automated requests.
  • Do not attempt to interfere with the site's security, scrape its content, or access it with bots.
  • Do not copy, resell or redistribute our content without written permission.
  • Keep your devices and email account secure, since offers and documents may be sent there.

06

Do you agree to receive documents electronically?

Yes. By using the service you consent to receive notices, disclosures and records from us electronically by email or on the site. You can withdraw consent by contacting us, though you may then be unable to use the service.

You need a device with internet access, a current browser, and a valid email address to receive electronic records. You can request a paper copy of any notice we sent by contacting us. Lenders will ask for their own electronic consent before you sign their agreements.

07

How should you use our calculator and guides?

Our calculator, examples and guides are general information based on estimates. They are not financial, legal or tax advice, and they are not an offer of credit from us or any lender.

Figures such as typical APRs of 5.99% to 35.99% or the representative $2,000, 12-month example are illustrations. Your actual terms come only from a lender's offer and disclosures. Consider speaking with a qualified adviser about your circumstances. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience; we do not control and are not responsible for their content.

08

Who owns the site content?

We or our licensors own the site's text, design, graphics, calculator and code. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use, but you may not copy, modify or republish them without permission.

All trademarks shown on the site belong to their respective owners. Nothing on the site grants a license to use any trademark.

09

What warranties and liability limits apply?

The site and service are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any lender's acts or decisions.

We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a lender will respond. We are not responsible for a lender's decision, terms, funding, servicing or collection practices. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the site or service is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars. Some states do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from information you submit that is false or from your breach of these terms.

10

How are disputes resolved?

Contact us first, and we will try to resolve any concern informally within 30 days. If that fails, disputes are resolved by individual binding arbitration, except small-claims matters, which you may bring in your local small-claims court.

Arbitration will be administered by a recognized national arbitration provider under its consumer rules, and we will pay the filing fees above what you would pay to file in court. Claims must be brought individually, not as part of a class or representative action. You may opt out of this arbitration clause by emailing [email protected] within 30 days of first using the site. These terms are governed by federal law and the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes about a loan are governed by the lender's agreement.

11

What other general terms apply?

If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. These terms and our privacy policy are the full agreement between you and us about the site.

We may suspend or end access to the site for anyone who breaches these terms. You may not assign your rights under these terms; we may assign ours to a successor. Questions about these terms can go to [email protected], (888) 468-5344, or 8042 Hickory Lane, Suite 297, Salem, OR 97301. See the contact page for details.
