01
Who does this policy cover?
Our policy covers personal information we collect through this website, the loan-request form, and email, text and phone contact with our service. Lenders and partners who receive your request follow their own privacy policies.
We operate a loan-request service, not a lender. When you submit a request, the lenders and partners that receive it become independent holders of your information, and their use of it is governed by their own notices, including the privacy notices federal law requires financial institutions to provide. Please read those notices when a lender sends them.
The site is intended for adults in the United States. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
02
What information do we collect?
We collect the details you type into the request form, technical data from your device and browser, and records of your contact with us. The form collects the information lenders need to review a personal loan request.
| Category | Examples | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Identity and contact | Name, date of birth, home address, email, phone number | You |
| Government identifier | Social Security number | You |
| Financial | Income, pay frequency, employer or income source, housing payment, checking account and routing number | You |
| Request details | Amount requested, purpose, credit range you select | You |
| Device and usage | IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring site, approximate location from IP | Your browser, cookies and similar tools |
| Communications | Emails, call notes, opt-out choices | You and our systems |
| Outcome data | Whether a lender received your request, made an offer or funded a loan | Lenders and partners |
We may also receive information from identity-verification and fraud-prevention services to confirm that a request is genuine.
03
How do we use your information?
We use your information to pass your request to lenders and partners, to prevent fraud, to operate and improve the site, to respond to you, and to meet legal obligations. We do not use it to make credit decisions.
- Matching your request with lenders and partners that may be able to help
- Confirming identity and detecting fraudulent or duplicate requests
- Sending messages about your request and, where you agree, related offers; you can opt out at any time
- Measuring how the site performs and fixing problems
- Keeping records needed for legal, tax, audit and compliance purposes
05
How do we use cookies and similar tools?
We use cookies, pixels and similar tools to keep the form working, remember your settings, measure traffic, and understand which ads or pages brought you here. You can control most of them in your browser.
Essential cookies keep the request form secure and working and cannot be switched off without breaking it. Analytics cookies tell us which pages are read and where people leave the form. Advertising tools may record that you visited the site so we can measure campaigns. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use your browser's private mode, or turn on a Global Privacy Control signal, which we treat as an opt-out of sale and sharing where state law requires.
06
What privacy rights do you have?
Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what we hold, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale, sharing or use for targeted advertising. We honor these requests wherever state law provides them.
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states with consumer privacy laws have rights that include:
- Access and portability: learn what personal information we collected and receive a copy.
- Correction: fix inaccurate information.
- Deletion: ask us to delete information, subject to legal record-keeping exceptions.
- Opt out: stop the sale or sharing of your information and its use for targeted advertising.
- Limit sensitive data: restrict use of sensitive information, such as your Social Security number, to what is needed to handle your request.
- Appeal: ask us to reconsider if we decline a request.
- No retaliation: we will not treat you differently for using these rights.
To make a request, email [email protected] or call (888) 468-5344. We will confirm your identity by matching details you provided on the form, and we respond within the time your state allows, commonly 45 days. An authorized agent may act for you with written permission. Some information held by lenders is covered by federal financial privacy law instead, so contact the lender directly for those records.
07
How can you stop marketing messages?
Use the unsubscribe link in any email from us, reply STOP to any text, or ask us by phone or email. Opting out of our messages does not stop lenders that already received your request.
We send text messages or make automated calls only where you have given consent, and consent is never a condition of obtaining a loan. To stop messages from a lender, use the opt-out in that lender's message or contact the lender directly.
08
How do we protect your information?
We protect data with encrypted connections, access controls, limited staff access and monitored systems. No method is perfectly secure, so we also ask you to guard your own passwords and devices.
The request form is served over HTTPS so details are encrypted in transit. Sensitive fields are stored encrypted, and only staff who need them for support or compliance can see them. If we learn of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law. We will never ask for your online banking password, a gift card or an upfront fee.
09
How long do we keep your information?
We keep request data only as long as needed to process your request, meet legal and compliance obligations, resolve disputes and prevent fraud, and then delete or de-identify it.
In practice, that commonly means keeping request records for up to five years after submission, because lending and marketing laws require records of consent and data transfers. Analytics data is kept in aggregated form. If you ask for deletion, we delete what the law allows and tell you what we must keep and why.
10
How will we tell you about changes, and how do you reach us?
We post any update to this policy on this page with a new effective date, and we notify you directly of material changes where the law requires. Questions go to our privacy contact below.
